Mission

Our mission is to widely collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions that address food security, poverty, inequality, and unemployment in Somalia Park. By providing  basic literacy, life-skills, arts and culture, agricultural skills, and building apprenticeship training, we aim to enhance both the quality of education and life for the less privileged, creating opportunities for long-term growth and self-sufficiency. 
 

Vision

Our vision is to create a world where the people of Somalia park, are  provided with sustainable food security  and  opportunities to  live beyond the circumstances of poverty, inequality and unemployment.  We believe that by working together with different stakeholders to provide solutions that can enhance the lives of the less privileged.

We value compassion for those in need, teamwork in our efforts to create a better world, and dedication to our cause. We are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of the people we serve.

We value face to face connections with the people in our community and our various partners and stakeholders.

We value helping hands. Our center's doors are always open to those wanting to make a difference by dedicating their time to our worthy causes.

We value Ubuntu. Through the benevolence of all our donors, partners and collaborators we are proud to be what we are today.

We believe in making long-lasting impact that will outlive our own time efforts in the hope create a sustainable future for all the beneficiaries of the change we make.

Who We Are & What We Do

Impumelelo Community Centre is a non-profit organization that serves the community of Somalia Park, Vosloorus. Our mission is to provide food ,shelter and basic literacy  for those who need it most. We believe that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Our vision is to create a world where no one goes hungry or without a safe place to call home or without a mind than can imagine new possibilities. We value compassion, teamwork, and dedication to our cause.

At Impumelelo Community Centre (Registered Impumelelo Soup Kitchen and Orphanage 097-150), we believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive. That's why we are committed to providing access to resources that help our community members succeed, no matter their background or situation. Our programs are designed to provide a wide range of resources, including education, skills training, entrepreneurship support, and more. We believe that through these efforts, we can help create a more resilient and empowered community for all.
