Impumelelo Community Centre ( Registered Impumelelo Soup Kitchen and orphanage 097-150) is a non-profit organization that houses an orphanage and hosts community soup kitchen in Vosloorus. We are dedicated to providing food assistance to those in need. Our programs and services are designed to help individuals and families in the community who are facing food insecurity. Our various skills develeopment and outreach efforts charity offer a variety of programs to assist those who are facing food insecurity and educational poverty. Our main programs include:
Youth Programs
We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where young individuals can develop essential life skills alongside their and cultural talents. Through engaging activities such as speech and poetry, drama and dance, gardening, and readathons, we aim to keep our youth motivated and inspired. Join us in fostering creativity and personal growth in the next generation!

Mindset Coaching & Counseling
We strive to provide our community members with coaching, counseling, and all the necessary resources to help them achieve their goals. Our team is committed to helping individuals and families deal with challenges that may arise in their lives, and we provide guidance and support along the way. We believe in the power of community, and we are proud to serve as a partner to those in need.
Food Assistance
We offer a variety of food assistance programs to help individuals and families who are facing food insecurity. Our programs include our community soup kitchen and food pantry.
Life Skills Training
At Impumelelo Community Centre, we believe that everyone in our community deserves a chance to succeed. That’s why we offer brick laying training to people in our community who may otherwise be excluded from the workforce. By teaching these individuals a valuable trade, we’re giving them the tools they need to build strong foundations for themselves and their families. Our training programs are designed to teach practical skills while creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
Community Outreach
Our community outreach programs are designed to raise awareness about food insecurity and the need to have basic literacy in the community. We work to engage community members in the fight against hunger and learning poverty and to build a stronger, more resilient community.
Enterprise Skills Training & Employment Assistance
Our mission at Impumelelo Community Centre is to create a community where every person has the tools and opportunity to create a better life for themselves and their families. Our training programs are tailored to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed and to start small businesses. We provide self-employment opportunities to ensure individuals have the chance to put their skills and knowledge to the test, make a living and contribute to the community.

Advocacy
